You had better be prepared for a fun-filled day!
Not only have we been super busy securing you some amazing prizes for the tombola (shown below), we have also been prepping what the set-out for the day will be too. So we have a little treat in-store for you.
We have planned out what is going where for the day which means, you are able to plan your strategy for arrival. Will is be the massive £1 sale you go to first? or the BBQ? You won’t have to worry about finding any of these things before you arrive because we have you covered!
Can you actually believe the amount of prizes we have for the tombola?! Priced at just 20p per ticket, you’re bound to be having a great time un-wrapping the numbers and finding what you have won. Not only do we have these ‘smaller’ prizes, but we also have some mammoth prizes to be won too! See the blog post about the Tombola prizes here…
Let's take a look at the plan for the Big Bike Event ⤵️
There is a lot going on next week and we are buzzing with how it is all shaping up! We have put together for you a little plan so you can find things easily and know what to expect when you arrive. You can see the floor plan is laid so you can see the entrance to Yorvale business park and The Recycle Project building in which you will see the toilet, kitchen and our allocated toddler zone in the downstairs workshop on your right.
You can see the bouncy castle which will be outside near the bushes lining the top end of where we would normally park our cars. With the BBQ and bin running down the side of our building and the activity tents around them. Our partners Re-Cycle York have a tent up with some bike stands in for you to work on your bikes with and there will also be a crafty area for you to go and get hands on too!
Massive £1 sale?!
We have been stockpiling! Getting ready for our biggest £1 sale we have ever seen. We know that this can set social on fire when we light up with our massive hauls that we recover from household recycling centres, enabling us to give YOU, our beautiful community, a chance to bag yourself an absolute bargain.
As you can see in the floor plan above, the plan is to have the massive £1 sale outside the big shutters we have and also into the large indoor space we have where our workshop is.
Our plan is to have as much of an impact with this one as possible and we have no shortage of recovered items to put back into circulation and get them used again.
Afterall, we are about the circular economy and someone has at some point deemed whatever you’re walking away with for £1, waste! You £1 goes forward to help us recover more waste and help more people support something that is more than worthwhile!
