Planter: In the workshop

reclaimed wood for pallet workshop

All the woods prepped, are your plants?

In this edition of In the Workshop, we have the gardeners and green fingered people very well looked after. We are looking at creating a planter for your garden or allotment. You might not be the one who is green fingered or have an interest in plants whatsoever, but you might want to create an awesome gift for someone who is.

Garden Planter from reclaimed wood at free workshop

In our free pallet workshops, we work with reclaimed and recovered pallet wood, to create something hand-made and unique. We promote and live a circular economy. This puts recycling and reusing at the heart of how we operate. We create opportunity out of waste and these projects are no different.

You might have an interest in building your confidence, working with wood or simply just getting out and meeting people.

You may never have picked up a hammer, nail, drill or a tool of any sort… don’t worry, this full day experience, we welcome everyone. We are very proud to have created something that welcomes anyone and everyone along.

This planter will sit beautifully in your garden, it can be personalised to suit your taste too. We have seen people who spent years on the tools and had completed beginners in, people who hadn’t ever even made a measurement or used a screwdriver.

We are very proud to have created something that welcomes anyone and everyone along. This planter will sit beautifully in your garden, it can be personalised to suit your taste too.

If you’d like it finished with a lining, a paint, stain or oil finish, you could create a plaque for it or anything. We guide you through the process from start to finish and have the planter available for you to walk out with.

We do have the option for you to purchase your creation at the end of the workshop.
