Welcome to our Community at The Recycle Project
We are a Community Interest Company (CIC) so our work is centred around giving back to our community. This includes giving our community access to our free workshops, charity work, sales of second hand goods and our active engagement towards positive waste management and reduction.

Why sharing articles from our Community Projects is important
Our community projects and events are at the heart of what we do. Not only does it show your interest and investment in us (which is incredible). It also gives other people the opportunity to discover us and our cause too.
This means that we can help you and help the environment, by making your contribution to making a brighter future through embedding a circular economy.
Ways to get involved in the TRP community
Workshops
Our FREE community workshops where you can learn new skills. We currently run two different workshops: bike maintenance and upcycling. The TRP doors are open to everyone, whether you are a novice or skilled, we would love you to come and take part! It’s a relaxed environment with plenty of refreshments on hand. Our skilled professionals will arm you with the knowledge and be there to support you every step of the way. Click the button above to find out more.
Volunteering
We have a fantastic team of volunteers at The Recycle Project who love what we do. They help out on the shop floor with stock and sales, assist in our workshops and are valued members of our teams.
We are always looking for volunteers to come join us on our mission and to help give back to the community. We’d love to hear from you if you’d be interested in joining The Recycle Project Volunteer team.
Sales
All of our community events and workshops are funded by our sales. Our shop is open Monday to Saturday 9am-5pm with new stock coming in every Tuesday and Friday.
We have everything: antiques, furniture, lighting, sports and outdoors equipment, tools, children’s items, books, instruments, artwork and so much more! There are lots of hidden gems to find.
On Saturdays we have our Super Saturday Sales and our £1 Sales too!
JustGiving
We have set up a campaign to help us raise £5000 to help fund our amazing free workshops. Please share.
Follow our community projects on social media too!
Social media is important to us. It is how we connect with our audiences, and share our campaigns and information about our free workshops. All our events are on Facebook, and our Instagram is alive with amazing pictures of what we are up to and selling. We also have YouTube, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
in the workshops...
We have a lot going on in there from running free workshops that members of the public can come and attend, commission work and up-cycling various different things.
